21 Days of Gratitude - Week 3 Day 6

We are almost to the end of this journey of Gratitude.

After all of this exploration of the Self of the self, of Atman, and learning that truth that you are, realizing and practicing gratitude for yourself first, now I invite you to explore a Cosmic Perspective.

Recall this mantra from week 1, exploring both the macrocosm and microcosm. 

Aham Brahmasmi. Aham Brahmasmi. Aham Brahmasmi.

“I am the Absolute.” 

As we look deeper within, we begin to sense how incredibly vast and expansive we are. Remember the metta meditation of week 2, and how you were able to expand the energy of your heart so far beyond yourself. 

We are, both minutely small and infinitely vast. Our strength lies in our ability to first love ourselves through knowing the Self of the self, and through that inward journey of gratitude, expanding outward until our love, our gratitude can embrace the wholeness of the cosmos. Chaos and order. Crises and celebration. Tumult and calm.

The universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are. - Rumi
